I am a mother, and fedant accredited antenatal educator. 

I support others in their preparation for birth and the fourth trimester, helping them to be informed and make the choices that are right for themselves and their families. No judgements. Birth may not be something that can be fully controlled but I truly believe that preparing and understanding what is happening during birth and beyond can change the way we experience it and lead to a more positive feeling. 

During my sessions, my aim is to share unbiased, evidence-based information in a way that is easy to digest and (dare I say it) fun at the same time. Antenatal classes should also be about making connections that last beyond the sessions I spend with you and start building the essential village that helps you as you transition into parents. 

My journey into teaching antenatal classes began after the birth of my daughter in 2020. It was a life changing thing, becoming a parent. 

Something inside of me shifted and wanted to help other parents to be feel prepared and supported during this transformative time. 

I created Antenatal and Beyond after I trained as an antenatal and early postnatal educator with Blossom Antenatal in 2022. Since qualifying, I teach regular online breastfeeding and mixed feeding classes for Blossom Antenatal. More recently, I have also become a breastfeeding peer supporter and volunteer at University Hospital Lewisham. 

I am a FEDANT accredited antenatal educator (National Register No. 13782). 

I am based in South East London and offer in-person group antenatal classes to expectant parents in Ladywell, Brockley, Lewisham and surrounding areas.
